General Membership
The membership of the Canadian Fertilizer Product Forum (CFPF) is national in scope, representing a range of stakeholders from across Canada with regional perspectives.
Membership in the CFPF is open to any group, organization or individual that has a stake in the fertilizer and supplement sector. Members include, but are not limited to, the following groups:
- Federation of Canadian Municipalities
- Canadian Federation of Agriculture
- Canadian Association of Agri-Retailers
- Canadian Biosolids Partnership
- Canadian Cattlemen Association
- Canadian Fertilizer Institute
- Canadian Water and Wastewater Association
- Consumer groups
- Grain Growers of Canada/ Alberta Barley Commission
- Lawn and Garden groups
- Micronutrient Fertilizer Association
- Compost Council of Canada
- Environmental groups
- National Farmers’ Union
- Ontario Agri-Business Association (Lawn and Garden)
- Plant Inoculants Canada
- Regional Crop Groups
Government agencies, departments and other bodies may appoint advisory members to the Executive Committee to provide technical and operational advice, and input on broad government policy and scientific insight. Advisory members include, but are not limited to, the following groups:
- Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada
- Canadian Food Inspection Agency
- Environment Canada
- Health Canada, including Pest Management Regulatory Agency
- Industry Canada
- Natural Resources Canada
- Provincial Agriculture and/or Environment departments
- Treasury Board / Smart Regulation Initiative
- University research scientists
